2026 Future Hero Nominations are now being accepted!
We are now accepting nominations for our 2026 Future Hero, who will be recognized at the Golden Paw Awards & Benefit on Thursday, September 24, at the Poland Spring Inn.
To nominate a deserving young person in your life, please email Shannon@gahumane.org with the following:
• Child’s name and age
• Your name
• Your relationship to the nominee
• A brief statement explaining why you are nominating them
Nominations will be accepted for one week, closing on June 7, 2026. Submissions will be reviewed and narrowed down to a small group of finalists. Their inspiring stories will then be shared for online voting.
