You're looking at the man of the year, Ace, or as we like to call him, Acey-boy.

This 3 year old stud muffin came to us after him and his previous owner found themselves in a tough spot. It was decided that the shelter was the best option for our boy and after a few days of warming up we got to know the real Ace. Let me just tell you that this man is a goofball! That being said, you have to put in the work to see that side of him. His past had lead him to be a bit leery of new people and his new person should be prepared to help him build his confidence around others. Our anxious guy needs a quiet set up, this means he should be living one on one with another person and no children with low to no foot traffic. We have found that another playful dog in home will help him to be more comfortable and adjust but we will need to do a meet and greet to ensure it's a good match!

Ace loves to adventure whether that be hiking, swimming, running, or riding the couch watching your favorite show. A young active loner would be a phenomenal match for this guy. Someone who will take him out to exercise but not in highly populated places. Secluded trails on a long leash are just his cup of tea.

This affectionate guy has been waiting here since June to find his forever home. There is nothing he wants more than to find his person to snuggle up with and smother in kisses. We know he has a hard exterior but once you break through he is the most lovable and loyal guy.

If you would like to give this guy a chance please stop in or give us a call to ensure our behavior coordinator or a senior staff member is around to set up a visit. Oh and don't forget to bring your dog!
