Meet Baxter!
This sweet 5 month old pup is looking to join a canine savvy crew, with some dogs he can follow and learn from as he grows up. Baxter has been through quite a bit at a young age, and although he doesn't mind humans, he is a little less trusting of humans than he canine friends. Baxter is currently in a foster home with another dog, and adores him – will follow him just about anywhere he goes.
He also adores squeaky toys, and Kongs with peanut butter in them. He is doing well getting used to his crate and house training schedule. There is one cat currently in his foster home that he ignores, and we believe young children would overwhelm him so kids 12+ would be best so he can still have some kiddo siblings, but ones that know how to respect his space.
Baxter will need a family with time and patience as he adjusts, using positive reinforcement as he adjusts into a home as well. He's a good boy who is ready to meet his forever so he can be the goofy puppy we know he has, deep down in him. If you're interested, please come in and meet him.
