This handsome boy is Charlie, a fun loving boy who adores all types of toys and treats. His absolute favorite toys are stuffies! Charlie will grab his stuffed toy and shake his head while trying to play.
Charlie is deaf and possibly some vision impairment; he knows a few commands by hand signals and is eager to learn more. To continue his progress, he will need to attend training courses with our Behavior Services Coordinator to expand upon what he has already learned. The courses will be provided at no charge.
He loves walks and playing outside, a home with a yard would be wonderful for him! Charlie loves to be outside so much that he gets the zoomies immediately. He is happy to run and play with all of the human friends he has made at the shelter. He loves to chase us in the yard and would be a great running companion.
Charlie would benefit from being in a home with no cats and older respectful children who aren't overwhelmed with his energy level and respect his space. He enjoys the company of other dogs and he could possibly live with the right companion. Making sure it's a good fit will reduce the potential of resource guarding.
