Georgia – Foster to adopt
Meet Miss Georgia, a 6-year-old pit mix with all the energy and love someone could ask for. When we say Georgia loves her people, she really LOVES her people. Kisses all day everyday! Georgia is an extremely social outgoing girl so making friends isn't a problem. A social family with lots of people around to give her all the attention she craves will be her ideal home.
Ms. Georgia has been through quite a bit in her 6 years, and unfortunately it's not stopping anytime soon. We are hoping to find Georgia her forever home as she goes through her ACL reconstruction recovery. Finding her forever home during this time will be a much better way for her to recover annnnd it's much more comfortable than the shelter kennels. Our team here will be happy to discuss the timeline for surgery and recovery with anyone who may be interested. Don't worry, this hasn't dulled her spirits at all and she is still just as loving as before.
Georgia has lived with other dogs before, and has done fine but due to her current medical situation we believe recovery as the only dog in home is best. We will be happy to discuss introducing another dog to Georgia once she fully healed from her injury. She has also lived with felines before and done well, we recommend slow introductions over a couple week period while Georgia is adjusting.
Georgia is ready to find that home to live the rest of her happy life in, Georgia will be a foster to adopt through our facility while she goes through her recovery period. She is such a wonderful gal, and will be a great companion for someone willing to finish this journey with her. Please come in and meet her, if you're ready to be that person for her!
