Meet Jackie – A Sweet Girl Learning the World Can Be Wonderful!
Jackie came to us through one of our transport partners after spending her younger months in a kennel, where she missed out on some important socialization and opportunities to build confidence. Because of this, the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Jackie is slowly learning that new people, places, and experiences don't have to be scary. She takes a little time to warm up, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality begins to shine.
Jackie is currently in foster care with other dogs and a cat, giving her the opportunity to learn from furry friends while gaining confidence in a home environment. She'll do best with a patient family who understands that she may need time to decompress and adjust to her new surroundings. With kindness, consistency, and plenty of positive experiences, Jackie is ready to continue discovering her confidence and become the happy, loving companion she's meant to be.
