Junie – Available at Auburn Public Library

Meet Junie! A voluptuous 7 year old lady! She is a lovebug who loves cheek rubs and shoulder scratches. She loves big beds and she cannot lie. A nice soft blanket she can't deny. She can be shy at first but just by spending a few minutes with her, she'll be ready to give you a big head butt! She'll need time to warm up in her new home and would do well in a quiet environment but will become your bestfriend soon enough. She would prefer a home without kids.

Junie is extremely overweight and is on a Friskies Pate wet food diet which needs to continue in her new home. She would also greatly appreciate a home that will encourage her to exercise to help her get healthy. Being overweight can cause many health issues so it is important she follows her diet and exercise plans. She should have regular checkups to track and monitor her progress.

Junie is also declawed which is an amputation of the last bone in their toes. This can cause joint pain and arthritis in cats. Because she is overweight and also declawed she is on a joint supplement to help combat this. She may benefit from continuing this in her new home.

Despite these challenges, she is one happy girl and would make a great addition to your family! If you are interested in adopting Junie, you can visit her at the Auburn Public Library!
