Maverick
Meet Maverick – A Handsome, Smart Boy Ready for a Fresh Start!
Maverick is a handsome, smart young adult dog looking for a steady and loving home. He was surrendered to us after his previous owner unexpectedly became responsible for his care and wasn't able to keep him. Since they hadn't had Maverick for long, much of his history is unknown, including how he does living with children or other dogs. He did well with the cat in that home during their short time together. At the shelter, Maverick has done well meeting other dogs, and he'll need to meet any canine friends and child siblings before adoption. He has struggled with being kenneled, so he'll need some patient support as he learns to feel comfortable with that routine.
Maverick would love a family who can offer consistency, affection, and positive guidance as he settles into his next chapter. He's a clever boy who will benefit from enrichment, training, and a predictable routine. With patience and understanding, Maverick has so much potential to become a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a smart, handsome sidekick to share life's adventures with, Maverick may be your guy!
