Meet Olivia – A Gentle Soul Learning the World Isn't So Scary
Olivia is a young dog who is currently thriving in foster care, where she is learning what it means to be part of a stable, loving family. Having come from a breeding situation where she received very little socialization as a puppy, much of the world still feels new and overwhelming to her. Everyday things-doors opening, unfamiliar noises, moving objects, and new environments-can be scary at first. However, since leaving the shelter and settling into a home, Olivia has continued to make steady progress. With patience, routine, and kindness, her confidence has been growing, and her sweet, gentle personality shines a little brighter every day.
Olivia is looking for a calm, patient home that will continue helping her build confidence at her own pace. She will benefit from adopters who understand that trust takes time and who are committed to using gentle encouragement and consistency as she learns about the world around her. A busy or chaotic environment may be overwhelming for her, but a quiet home with predictable routines will help her continue to flourish. Olivia would especially love a home with another calm, confident dog who can show her that life is safe, fun, and full of good things. Because Olivia is currently in foster care, interested adopters can ask a staff member to schedule a meet and greet.
