Meet Ryley!
This gorgeous landseal is ready to plop herself right into her forever families, homes and hearts. Ryley is a whoppin' 97 lbs, and is looking for her forever home to help her shed some of that off so she can feel more confident and comfortable in her skin. This doesn't stop her though, from being the most beautiful, and quirky girl out there. She loves to go on short walks, and romp around outside in our play yard. Ryley was surrendered to us locally, due to no fault of her own. Her previous home would describe her as couch potato, super friendly and loving and very affectionate. How much better do you get?
Ryley would prefer to be the only canine in home, but doesn't mind meeting up with canine friends for a walk or two – helps when you have a motivational partner, sometimes. Ryley has not lived with cats before, so we think a 1 or 2 feline household would be best so she is not overwhelmed by feline friends, she has greeted them here fine but our staff will be happy to discuss slow, proper introductions with feline friends in home to best set up everyone for success in the future. Ryley has met some kiddos during her time here, and we believe kiddos 10+ would be best in home and we would want Ryley to meet her whole family or anyone she'll see routinely in home prior to going home!
Our lovely Ryley will be a foster to adopt through our facility as we have her scheduled for a cyst removal, upon waiting for this appointment we wanted her to be able to meet and get to know her forever family. Foster to adopt allows her to settle into her forever home, but remain under our care medically so we can provide in pre or post surgery help. Our staff will be happy to discuss this timeline with any potential adopters that are interested in having this perfect plump gal join their home.
