Selena – Pending Adoption
Sweet Selena here is on the hunt for a new home and hopefully that's you!
Selena is a quiet shy girl looking for a home that reflect those same characteristics. A low foot traffic home in a quiet area would be her ideal spot. Selena is very nervous and she deserves an opportunity to be a real dog and feel safe in her home. After having a rough start she can be weary of new people and spaces.
After spending a few weeks with our girl we can see there's someone inside waiting to come out. She wants to come out of her shell she just isn't sure she is safe yet. We see her enjoying being outdoors, snout in the air taking in all that information. We got to take her over to our dog park where she spent her time sniffing and enjoying the nice open space. We know our girl like to play fetch as she did much of that in her previous home. Taking out the tennis ball is the closest we've gotten to see the true Selena.
Selena would make a great companion for a quiet couple or single person. A fenced in yard would be great since she is so nervous this will help keep her secure. She has not been socialized without animals and would do best without. She will tolerate other dogs in her space like neighborhood dogs, on walks and hikes but would be happiest as your only furry friend.
