Duplisea-Towle Veterinary Scholarship – Now Accepting Applications!
The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society is honored to announce that applications are now open for the Duplisea-Towle Veterinary Scholarship Fund.
This opportunity was created by the late Michael Towle in loving memory of his grandmother, Cora Duplisea Towle, and his great-aunt, Amy Duplisea Moulton. Remembered as “the kindest ladies you’d ever meet,” this scholarship celebrates the compassion and care Cora and Amy brought to the lives around them.
Up to $1,000 will be awarded to an individual within the GAHS service area who is pursuing an education and future career in a veterinary or animal-related field. Whether your path leads to veterinary medicine, animal behavior, sheltering, veterinary technology, or another area of animal care, this scholarship is intended to help support the next generation of knowledgeable, dedicated professionals.
We are grateful for this opportunity to honor Michael’s family while encouraging someone with a passion for animals to take the next step toward their goals. Education plays an essential role in creating a more compassionate future for animals. Every skilled veterinary professional, animal care provider, and advocate helps strengthen the safety net for pets and the people who love them.
To apply, please submit a scholarship application letter to Donna Richey by August 31:

We look forward to learning about the dreams, dedication, and love for animals that inspire this year’s applicants.
