It’s a Kitten Shower!

Spring at GAHS means one thing…Kittens!! While we love these adorable bundles of joy, they have very hungry tummies and lots of medical needs- which we need your help to prepare for.
This year, we’re holding a virtual Kitten Shower with an outdoor donation drop-off location, complete with a selfie station so you can let us know you’re dropping off supplies and be part of the kitten fun. Check out our Wish List for donation ideas. Don’t want to physically drop off supplies? Then send the kittens a care package through our Amazon Kitten Registry or Chewy! Thanks to our friends at Central Maine Credit Union, you can also drop off kitten supplies at their Lisbon Street location now through 5/23!
We’re also collecting Bottle for Babies- drop off your returnable bottles and cans at the shelter and those funds will help us by baby bottles, Kitten Milk Replacer and more!
We’ll be posting videos and live streaming awesome and adorable kittens all day- talking about fostering, bottle-feeding, kitten development and the most important thing of all- playtime! Bookmark our Facebook page so you don’t miss out on the feline festivities.

A big part of helping kittens is fostering! We rely on our amazing foster families to provide hands-on care for kitty moms and their adorable babies. If you have an interest in fostering, or just want to learn what it is all about, get registered for our Fostering Animals 101 class!
