Join us as a Thanksgiving Foster!

Planning a low-key holiday and looking for a way to give back? Give one of our shelter pets a break this Thanksgiving by hosting a foster. This is a wonderful opportunity to give a pet the comfort of a home for the holiday week – and who knows, you might just fall in love, or help them find their future family!
To become a Thanksgiving Foster, visit the shelter on Friday, November 21 or Saturday, November 22 to be matched with a pet and bring them home. To submit your application ahead of time, please go to https://form.jotform.com/222975854124058. (Paper applications are also available at the shelter.)
Whether you’re ready to adopt or just want to offer some holiday cheer, hosting a pet for Thanksgiving makes a meaningful difference in their lives! Pets will return to the shelter 9-11am on Saturday, November 29 or Monday, December 1 – unless, of course, you decide to make them a permanent part of your family!
In past years, this program has led to many happy “foster finds,” and the insights shared by the foster families have helped make ideal matches for pets who return to the shelter for adoption.
