Our residents are dreaming of a cozy home for the holidays – will it be yours?

After such an amazing turnout in years past, our “Let It Snow: Holiday Foster Fun” is officially back! If you’ve ever considered fostering, this short-term “staycation” is the perfect way to test the waters and give a pet a much-needed break from the shelter.

Visit the shelter to be matched up with an eligible pet and bring them home on Friday, Dec. 19 from 12 to 5pm or Saturday, Dec. 20 from 12 to 5pm.

Once you are matched with a pet, you’ll be able to decide if a one or two week foster fits better for your home. Pets will retum to shelter on Saturday, Dec. 27 from 9am to 11 am or Saturday, Jan. 3 from 9am to 11am.

We ask you to supply the love, but we’ll take care of everything else! A fun “vacation supplies” kit will be sent home with food, toys and everything you’ll need. We hope you’ll help advertise the pet- take photos, videos, tell friends and family about them and hopefully you’ll help us find their new home.

Please remember, not every animal will want a busy holiday experience – many will appreciate a quiet, calm room to sleep and decompress from the shelter. If you’ll be having a quiet holiday, we’ve got lots of great animals to keep you company.
