The wait is almost over! The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society is thrilled to announce the return of our Practically Purrfect Pet Portrait Fundraiser – and this year, we’re aiming to make it our biggest masterpiece yet!
What is Practically Purrfect Pet Portraits all about?
It’s a high-stakes game of “Artistic Roulette” for a great cause! Supporters submit photos of their beloved pets, and we match them with a volunteer artist. The catch? The result is a total surprise. Will they receive a stunning digital rendering from a pro, or a “uniquely interpretive” crayon sketch from a passionate 2nd grader? Whether it belongs in a gallery or on a refrigerator door, every portrait is guaranteed to be Practically Purrfect.
Join Our Artist Squad!
Before we can open the floodgates for pet photos, we need YOU. We are officially in recruitment mode and looking for volunteers to donate their time and creative energy.
- Who can join? Anyone! Professional painters, aspiring graphic designers, casual doodlers, or anyone who just loves animals and can hold a pencil.
- The Medium: Use whatever you like! Paint, sketch, sculpt, or digital – all styles are welcome.
- The Goal: Help us raise vital funds for the animals at GAHS while having a total blast.
