Let It Snow! Holiday Foster Fun 2024

A blizzard of love is in the forecast!

Our residents are hoping to bust out of the shelter for a holiday break, so the GAHS’ Let It Snow: Holiday Foster Fun is heading this way! If you’ve ever wondered if fostering would be a good fit for your family, this defined commitment might be the perfect way to test it out.

Visit the shelter to be matched up with an eligible pet and bring them home on

Friday, Dec. 20 from 1pm to 6pm or Saturday, Dec. 21 from 1pm to 5pm. Get a jump on things and submit your application today at https://form.jotform.com/222975854124058.

Once you are matched with a pet, you’ll be able to decide if a one or two week foster fits better for your home. Pets will retum to shelter on Saturday, Dec. 28 from 9am to 11 am or Saturday, Jan. 4 from 9am to 11am.

We ask you to supply the love, but we’ll take care of everything else! A fun “vacation supplies” kit will be sent home with food, toys and everything you’ll need. We hope you’ll help advertise the pet- take photos, videos, tell friends and family about them and hopefully you’ll help us find their new home.

Please remember, not every animal will want a busy holiday experience – many will appreciate a quiet, calm room to sleep and decompress from the shelter. If you’ll be having a quiet holiday, we’ve got lots of great animals to keep you company.
