Ping is grateful for your help!
Meet Ping, a 1-year-old, larger mixed-breed dog who first came to us as a stray on March 15th. At that time, she was a young adolescent puppy, and we were just getting to know her. After her 7-day stray hold, she was quickly adopted, but sadly, she returned to us on July 11th.
Since coming back, our team has spent countless hours working with Ping on her over-arousal behaviors. The chaotic shelter environment has been a challenge for her, but with consistency, she’s made amazing progress. We know Ping has the potential to be an incredible companion, and we want to set her up for success. We believe that one-on-one work with a trainer will help Ping with a successful transition to her new home.
Having surpassed our goal of $1000, this lovely girl will get the chance to live her best life by receiving several sessions of training starting here at the shelter transitioning into work in home after adoption. Thanks to your help, Ping will have the opportunity continue training with Unleashed with Auli Lovoi, a wonderful trainer who has been a huge supporter to our shelter dogs. Since joining our community with her family, Auli has volunteered with us, fostered dogs, and is excited to continue working with Ping.
