Subaru Loves Pets!
The GAHS is partnering with Evergreen Subaru to provide the love and support every pet deserves!
According to the ASPCA®, nearly 6.5 million companion animals enter shelters nationwide last year, where many wait to find a loving home. Subaru is committed to helping shelter pets find their homes and with October being Adopt A Shelter Dog Month, it’s the perfect time to really put that into action!
That’s why, as part of their annual #SubaruLovesPets initiative, Evergreen Subaru is providing our organization with direct funding through a grant administered by the ASPCA® to help us cover essential costs for preparing animals for adoption, veterinary expenses, and more. This compassionate support will ensure that more of our amazing shelter pets can find loving homes within our community.
All month we will be highlighting wonderful pets in our care who are hoping to make their match soon!
October 22nd will be the 6th annual National Make A Dog’s Day, a special day created by Subaru to encourage all dog lovers to do something special for their dogs. We will be honoring the furry friends here at the GAHS, as well as the heartwarming adoptions that truly #MakeADogsDay in a life-changing way.
Additionally, we’ll be partnering with Evergreen Subaru to host an adoption event in their showroom on Sunday, October 27. Make sure to keep an eye out on our social media for fun updates on who will be with us that day!
