Humane Education

Teaching compassion is something we strongly believe in at the GAHS.

The goal of our Humane Education Program is to offer fun, interactive opportunities for children of all ages to learn about spaying and neutering, lifelong pet commitment, kind and responsible animal care, and more.

We are always looking for new ways to engage children in our community. Our team is excited to announce our newest initiative: the Let’s Chat Reading Program.

Scouting troops, school groups, daycares, and other organizations are welcome to schedule a visit and tour to meet our resident animals and learn more about our work.

We also offer visits to schools, daycares, and community organizations upon request. School service projects, donation drives, and high school volunteer hours are always appreciated, too!
