Many pet owners in our community struggle to make ends meet and afford veterinary care for their dogs and cats. The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society believes that people will make good decisions for animals when they are treated with kindness and understanding, and when they have enough information and resources.
Times are tough. We understand many of our community members are experiencing financial hardship, and need some help to keep their pets happy and healthy.
The GAHS hosts a series of Pet Wellness Clinics in our communities to offer basic vaccines, including rabies, for both dogs and cats. For information on upcoming clinics, please visit https://gahumane.org/news-events/. A full listing of clinics can also be found here.
While we are not able to offer regular veterinary services to the public currently, we want to be able to offer support to pets in our community when possible. If your pet is on need of care beyond basic vaccinations that you cannot afford, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. A staff member will be able to reach out to discuss any help we can offer.
