Meet Spidey – A Shy Sweetheart Looking for His Trusted Few!

Spidey is a shy kitty who wants to trust people, but he's still figuring out who deserves a spot in his inner circle. New people and unfamiliar places can make him suspicious, so he'll need extra time to settle into a new home and the freedom to adjust at his own pace. Spidey seems like he may be more of a one- or two-person kind of guy who forms his closest bonds with a small number of trusted people. He recently made a friend in Medusa, another kitty who understands that trusting humans can take time! These two would benefit from going home together if possible, giving them a familiar feline companion as they navigate their next chapter.

Spidey and Medusa would appreciate a calm, predictable home with cozy hiding spots, soft beds, and tall cat trees or shelves where they can observe the world from a safe distance. Spidey would likely be most comfortable in a home without children, where he can build confidence without feeling overwhelmed. Letting him make the first move, respecting his boundaries, and celebrating the little moments of progress will help him learn that people can be pretty great after all. He may not be the kind of kitty who greets every visitor at the door, but with patience and his friend Medusa by his side, Spidey has the potential to become a very special companion.
